  1. The first photo is the centered photo and the bottom one is the "third" photo. I really like the third picture because it has the back ground of tall grass, making the mushrooms seem so much larger in size. I think that it also make them seem to have a "place" where the center photo is just on a lawn. (if that makes sense!!)

  2. The top photo gives you the impression that the field is full of mushrooms and little grass. The bottom photo appears more like a lot of grass and less mushrooms. It is all about what your eyes focus on. Great job!

  3. Nice! This a great comparison to show the effects of the rule of thirds! I think that generally, photos where the subject is in the center tend to look like snapshots....when you take the time to care as much about the open space around your subject as the subject itself they become something different. That's part of what makes the rule of thirds so important, I think.

  4. Very cool not only do these display the rule of thirds...but also show the effect of perspective. The bottom one shows the foreground and background so the eyes glide along the photo....nice!
